Vikings snag Brees’ first pick of 2018
For Drew Brees last season, there were moments when it appeared that he was showing signs of decline. But in 2018, that is far from the case for Brees.
Even at 39-years-old, the Saints quarterback has already thrown for 13 touchdowns and is averaging over 310 passing yards per game this season. Brees also has not had any of his passes intercepted this year either.
That will change on Sunday against the Vikings.
A big part of Minnesota winning their last three games and getting their season back on track has been due to their defense’s ability to generate turnovers. Over the last three weeks, the Vikings have caused their opponents to turn the ball over 8 times.
Of the 12 total turnovers Minnesota has forced so far this season, seven have been interceptions. The Vikings will add to that total on Sunday as they become the first team to pick off one of Brees’ passes this year.
