Griffen gets to do his sack dance
It’s been awhile since Vikings fans have heard from Everson Griffen. But the Minnesota defensive returned to the team on Wednesday after missing the last few weeks to focus on improving his mental health.

Griffen’s status for Sunday against the Saints is still unknown. However, he was a full participant in both of the Vikings’ practices on Wednesday and Thursday.
If he does play (which seems pretty likely), expect Griffen to get after the quarterback like old times. At least one sack dance on Sunday doesn’t seem too crazy of a prediction to have for the veteran pass rusher.
When Griffen does end up with his first sack since Week 2, expect U.S. Bank Stadium to erupt with cheers so loud that Minnesota’s owners get concerned about the glass cracking on the venue’s giant doors.
In all honesty though, it will just be exciting to see Griffen back on the field competing with his Vikings teammates again, sack or not.
At the very least, the guys on Minnesota’s roster should be happy to have the defensive end take back his duties away from Kirk Cousins as the team’s pregame speech giver.
