1. This game is marketed as the rematch from the Minneapolis Miracle. Do Saints fans want revenge for that game or have most already moved on?

Saints fans are pretty evenly split on this one. Sean Payton has done a good job of keeping everybody focused on 2018 without much looking in the rearview mirror. Personally, I’d rather have revenge for last year’s season opener where Sam Bradford shredded our defense.

I think most Saints fans would like to win more to exact revenge on the national media for replaying footage of that Stefon Diggs play ad nauseam. I’d say for the players there’s a large sense of let’s get a win and put all that behind them.

2. The Saints ended up making a move for Teddy Bridgewater this season. Is there hope in New Orleans that he could be their quarterback of the future?

Here’s another split with Saints fans. Most realize Teddy Bridgewater’s potential. But only Breesus knows how much longer he’ll play. He certainly isn’t showing any drop off. And Bridgewater will be actively courted as a free agent demanding money the Saints can’t pay for a backup.

Then there’s the growing legend that is Taysom Hill though he hasn’t demonstrated a lot in the passing department. With all that in mind, Bridgewater is also the best trade bait the Saints have prior to the upcoming trade deadline. With all of those factors in place, it would be pretty surprising to me to see him in a Saints uniform in 2019.
