3. Drew Brees is setting NFL records and is among the best quarterbacks of all time. What is the feeling of New Orleans fans about Kirk Cousins?

I think Cousins is viewed as something in the Matthew Stafford category talent-wise and Sam Bradford on the business front. Sort of a mercenary, hired gun with the talent to make something big happen at some point in his career.

As far as Saints fans go, there isn’t any general feeling about him other than being the other team’s quarterback. Last season’s epic Brees/Cousins shootout when he was with the Redskins has Saints fans respecting him and they know what he’s capable of.

4. Who are one player from the Saints offense and one from the defense who Vikings fans may not be familiar with but should make a huge impact on the game?

On offense, rookie receiver Tre’Quan Smith is the biggest unknown, or little known, threat. He’s taken a minute to get involved in the offense, but he’s got the athletic ability to make some huge plays and is set to become the WR2 for the Saints down the road and even to be a major player going into the second half of this season.

On defense, the offseason addition of linebacker Demario Davis from the Jets is starting to pay dividends. He’s a solid and aggressive presence as a tackler and he can also be used as a blitzing linebacker. That’s something I expect to see on at least a couple of occasions Sunday Night.
