The interesting stuff vs Saints

  1. That Sunday Night Football theme song. I get that things change with time, but much like the old Cee-Lo Green theme for Thursday Night Football, some changes aren’t for the better and I’m still waiting all day for Sunday night.
  2. The other streak continues too (kind of)! Danielle Hunter was credited for a tackle for loss instead of a sack on Saints quarterback Taysom Hill. If it had been properly listed as a sack, his streak of games with a sack since the start of the season would be intact. Just because it isn’t Drew Brees doesn’t automatically mean he’s not able to throw the ball.
  3. “And here’s a guy..” There have been some great sports sayings over the years. Marv Albert, Dick Vitale, and many others developed signature sayings that bring excitement to the game. Cris Collinsworth‘s “and here’s a guy” does the exact opposite of that and becomes annoying quickly…even more so when the team you’re rooting for is behind.
  4. Holding them off. The Vikings only allowed 270 yards of offense to the high-powered Saints. Factor in that Drew Brees only threw for 120 yards and you’d think Minnesota dominated this contest. However, it wasn’t the number of yards but how close they were to the end zone that ended up mattering.
  5. Vikings rewards. For this game, there are two great codes available to earn points toward great merchandise, bid on auctions, or take part in drawings for amazing prizes. Entering the code for the Sleep Number points is “Sleeplikeaviking” while the radio code “1028joseph” will get you even more points!
