1. Adam Thielen (No change)

This week had some good with some bad when it comes to Adam Thielen, but the headline from Week 8 is that he has tied Calvin Johnson for the most consecutive games with 100 yards or more and now owns the longest streak with 100 yards games to start a season.

He can beat Megatron’s record in Week 9 against the Detroit Lions, which could be quite fitting and fun for the crowd at U.S. Bank Stadium.

The good news from the game is that he caught everything thrown his way, snagging all seven of the passes thrown his way, racking up 103 yards and scoring a touchdown that helped the Vikings offense move the ball.

However, it was a big fumble before the half that changed the momentum of this game. After that play, it was hard for the Vikings to recover. However, with how great he’s been on the season, it’s tough to put too much blame on him.

Just outside the top 10

  • Holton Hill – An excellent performance from Hill puts him on the radar for the future player rankings as he develops as a corner.
  • Eric Kendricks – Tying for the team leader in tackles, Kendricks put his athleticism and tackling on display.
  • Sheldon Richardson – Bouncing back this week, Richardson had five tackles, earning half tackle for a loss as well.
