Minnesota Vikings vs Lions in Week 9: The Detroit perspective
By Adam Carlson
Take a look at the Week 9 NFL matchup between the Minnesota Vikings and the Detroit Lions on Nov. 4 through the eyes for the opposition.
At the midway point of the 2018 NFL season, the Minnesota Vikings sit with a 4-3-1 record and are second in the NFC North, behind only the Chicago Bears. And if they want to win their division, they will need to win a lot of their remaining games, including division battles.
Their first division game ended in a draw against the Green Bay Packers, but now they must focus on the Detroit Lions, a team that Minnesota has never defeated in front of their home crowd at U.S. Bank Stadium.
In Week 9, the matchup on Sunday, Nov. 4 should have fans very excited and nervous. A win here would help the team in a big way get back on track for the playoffs, but Detroit will be playing hard to prove their season isn’t quite done yet and they can be competitive.
