Which four players have been surprisingly impressive for the Minnesota Vikings during the first nine games of the team’s 2018 season?

For the Minnesota Vikings, the middle of their 2018 season is now here. After nine games, the Vikings will get the upcoming week off before returning to action on November 18 against the Chicago Bears.

So far, Minnesota is sitting with a respectable 5-3-1 record. One that probably could be even better if not for a few hiccups during the early portion of the season.

Due to injuries, the Vikings have been forced to rely on their depth more than they probably expected this year. However, Minnesota’s reserves have performed well enough to keep the team in the hunt for a spot in the playoffs and a potential second straight NFC North title.

The amount of injuries this season has allowed the Vikings to get a better look at some of their younger players that could become vital contributors of the next few years. Some of these young reserves have been able to take advantage of their increase in playing time this season and have made an actual difference out on the field.

Of this group of players that were not really expected to make that much of an impact in 2018, which four have been the most impressive for Minnesota?
