Anthony Harris – S

Like most of the players in this group, Harris has seen the field more this season because of injuries to other players on the Vikings’ roster. And in his fourth year with Minnesota, the 27-year-old safety has been using his increase in snaps to make a bunch of plays for his team in 2018.

With Andrew Sendejo missing Minnesota’s last four games with a groin injury, Harris has been given more chances to make a difference for the defense. He performed well enough during Weeks 6 and 7 that the Vikings decided to insert him into the starting lineup during their last two matchups.

Since his playing time on defense began to increase in Week 6 against the Arizona Cardinals, Harris has performed very well, especially in pass coverage. During Minnesota’s last four games, he has allowed just one catch for eight yards in coverage and he also snagged an interception.

It’s likely that Harris will return to the bench once Sendejo becomes healthy enough to play again. But finding a way to utilize both players out on the field each week may be something the Vikings should look into.
