Adam Thielen is a star now

When talking about the success stories within Minnesota’s organization, the most fruitful right now is wide receiver Adam Thielen. There is actually a chance he could end up as the league’s leading receiver this season, which would be a great feather in his cap.

By now, the story of him getting a tiny scholarship to a small Minnesota school and being an undrafted free agent by the Vikings to work his way through the roster to a starting gig has become the stuff of legend, but his story is far from over.

At only 28 years old, Thielen has been paired with Stefon Diggs to create one of the most dynamic duos of pass catchers in the league and force opposing defenses to be honest thanks to great route running, excellent speed, and amazing hands.

Thielen has caught 78 passes for 947 yards this season and a career-high seven touchdowns. He is in third place in the NFL in receiving yards, trailing only Julio Jones of the Atlanta Falcons and Michael Thomas of the New Orleans Saints. Who would have thought he would have climbed this high through hard work and dedication.
