All that depth on the roster

In today’s NFL, injuries will happen. When it happens to key players, it can be tough to have quality individuals to step up and be plugged into the lineup and not see a massive drop in quality on the football field.

The Vikings don’t have a lot of that. The team made do without Dalvin Cook. Andrew Sendejo, Everson Griffen, Linval Joseph, Riley Reiff, Nick Easton, Stefon Diggs, and other individuals who missed time but were still able to play at a high enough level not to struggle immensely.

Guys like Stephen Weatherly, Brian O’Neill, Tom Johnson, Jaleel Johnson, Latavius Murray, and others have stepped up in a big way to be a great reason the Vikings are at 5-3-1 heading into Week 11 of the 2018 NFL season.

Of course, it’s always great to get the starters back so the team can be at full strength, but it is always good to know that there are some great options if the team needs a backup to step into a big role.
