That amazing pass rush

Danielle Hunter and Mike Zimmer have been talked about already, but there is something special about these players that work hard to disrupt the passing game of the opposing quarterback on a regular basis.

When looking at the team sacks numbers through the first 10 weeks, the Vikings are tied with three other squads for the most in the league. The combined force of Minnesota have 31 sacks on the year, and that includes the zero from their Week 10  bye week.

Weirdly enough, the sacks not credited to Hunter are spread out in a crazy way. No other player on the Vikings roster has more than three sacks this year, with so many individuals pitching in from different places.

Harrison Smith, Mackensie Alexander, and Steven Weatherly each have three each with Tom Johnson and Everson Griffen at two and a half each. Sheldon Richardson, Linval Joseph, David Parry, Jalyn Holmes, Jayron Kearse, and Jaleel Johnson also each got in on the action. With so much pass rushing talent, it’s great to know quarterbacks have to fear the pressure coming from anywhere!
