Defensive MVP in Week 11

Anthony Harris, S

Odds are that if you watched the entire game on Sunday night that you could have guessed that Harris was going to be the most valuable player on defense during Week11 based on his stat line alone.

Harris only had four tackles on the day with three of them being solo, but it was his work in coverage that earns him the honor against the Chicago Bears.

During the game, he defended three total passes from Mitchell Trubisky, intercepting two of them. Those two picks were the only real mistakes that the Chicago quarterback made during the game, but Harris made him pay for them and gave Minnesota good field position.

Harris filled in for Andrew Sendejo, who hasn’t been able to take the football field since Week 5 against the Philadelphia Eagles. And it’s great knowing that if Sendejo needs to miss more time that there are good options to play in his place.
