Harris snatches himself another pick

With Andrew Sendejo dealing with a groin injury for the last five games, the Vikings have had to turn to their backups to fill in at safety. And since getting the nod to start three weeks ago, Anthony Harris has been doing a very nice job filling in for Sendejo.

In Minnesota’s last three games, Harris has racked up a total of 11 tackles, three pass breakups, and two interceptions. Both of his interceptions came last week during the Vikings’ matchup with the Bears.

If Harris remains in the starting lineup again on Sunday against the Packers (which it’s looking like he will), the 27-year-old safety will be looking to add to his 2018 interception total.

Green Bay quarterback Aaron Rodgers does come into this week having only thrown one pick this season. However, Rodgers has yet to face the new and improved Harris this year and that will lead to one of the quarterback’s passes landing in the safety’s hands this Sunday.
