4 Bold Predictions: Minnesota Vikings vs. Green Bay Packers – Week 12
By Adam Patrick
Diggs and Thielen give the Packers an encore performance
During the Vikings’ first matchup with the Packers this season back in Week 2, Minnesota receivers Adam Thielen and Stefon Diggs had themselves a pair of impressive performances.
Diggs and Thielen combined for 21 catches, 259 yards, and three touchdowns against Green Bay. The Packers’ defense had no answer for the Vikings’ two talented receivers.
It should be more of the same on Sunday night when Minnesota takes on Green Bay for the second time this season.
This year, the Packers’ defense is giving up the ninth-most yards per game to opposing wide receivers. 14 of the 16 passing touchdowns the Packers’ defense has allowed this season have been caught by wide receivers.
Expect Diggs and Thielen to pick up where they left off in Week 2 and combine for at least 12 catches, 200 yards, and two touchdowns on Sunday against Green Bay.
