Vikings should be fine if Rhodes has to miss time

With less than three minutes remaining in regulation on Sunday, Vikings cornerback Xavier Rhodes had to leave the field with an apparent injury to his right hamstring. Rhodes did not return to the game and his status for Week 13 is up in the air.

Following Sunday’s contest, the Minnesota cornerback said he will be getting an MRI on his injury and he was able to walk on his own out of the locker room.

Even if Rhodes has to miss some time, the Vikings’ defense should be fine over the next few weeks without him on the field. Minnesota’s defensive depth has played very well this year and there is no reason to think that they wouldn’t continue to do so in Rhodes’ absence.
