Offensive MVP – honorable mentions

These are the players who had very good performances during Week 12 against the Packers, but didn’t quite earn the MVP award.

Adam Thielen, WR

Adam Thielen led the team in receiving yards during the game, snagging eight of the nine passes thrown his direction for 125 yards and a touchdown. Even more impressive was his ability to haul in a pass tossed into very heavy traffic and hold on while going to the ground to get the Vikings a first down.

Stefon Diggs, WR

The more targeted pass catcher in the game, Stefon Diggs had eleven passes thrown to him and caught eight for 77 yards and a score. One play was a great route and throw combination that went for 30 yards and ended up in the end zone. Diggs also added one run for twelve yards on the day.

Dalvin Cook, RB

On the ground, Dalvin Cook‘s day was mostly unremarkable. His ten carries for 29 yards aren’t going to get him a lot of love, but it was his work in the passing game that saw him shine. Cook caught all three of the passes thrown to him, gaining 47 yards and scoring his third career touchdown.
