Experience gives the Vikings the advantage

If not for that wacky 2016 season, Minnesota would probably be the winners of three straight NFC North titles.

15 players from the Vikings’ first division title under Mike Zimmer in 2015 are still on their current roster including Adam Thielen, Danielle Hunter, Harrison Smith, Everson Griffen, Linval Joseph, Stefon Diggs, and Xavier Rhodes among others. More than half of their current roster was around when they won the NFC North last season too.

This group of guys in Minnesota’s locker room knows what Zimmer expects from them and they know what it takes to finish atop their division. The experience that they possess is something that should give the Vikings the advantage over a young team like the Bears during the final portion of the season.
