Offensive MVP – Dalvin Cook, running back

The Minnesota Vikings running game has left much to be desired this season, but it was Dalvin Cook who established things on the ground quite well and had a couple of other runs called back because of holding penalties,

Only carrying the ball nine times, Cook managed to pick up 84 yards for an impressive average of 9.3 yards per rushing attempt. It’s shocking that Minnesota didn’t run the ball more with the success he was having on the ground.

Through the air, Cook caught eight of his ten targets during the game but only managed to gain 22 yards. Still, it was great to see the running back available on check-downs and the team trying to get him the ball in space.

In total, Cook got the ball in his hands 17 times against the Patriots and got 106 total yards, proving that getting him the football is a great way to move the ball on offense.
