Since the start of the 21st century, what have been the five best performances by the Minnesota Vikings on Monday Night Football?

On Monday, the Minnesota Vikings will be taking the field at Seattle’s CenturyLink Field for a matchup with the Seahawks. Despite winning 13 games and making it to the NFC Championship last season, this will be the Vikings first and only Monday night matchup of the year.

Minnesota hasn’t had a game on Monday night since their Week 5 win over the Chicago Bears last season. The Vikings also opened up 2017 on a Monday when they defeated the New Orleans Saints inside U.S. Bank Stadium.

Since the 2000 season, Minnesota has played in a total of 24 Monday night games. The Vikings have won three of these last four specific matchups. But overall, Minnesota has an unimpressive 10-14 record on Mondays since the start of the 21st century.

Of the Vikings’ 10 wins on Monday night since 2000, six have come on their home field. Last season’s win over the Bears was Minnesota’s first road victory on a Monday since 2008.

Despite their losses, the Vikings have put on their share of thrilling Monday night performances during the 21st century. So which five of Minnesota’s wins on Mondays since the 2000 season should be considered their most impressive?
