Honorable mention – Defensive MVP

There were a lot of great players on defense against the Seahawks during a contest where Seattle only managed one offensive touchdown and one two-point conversion. Here are some great individuals who weren’t the MVP, but still looked great!

Linval Joseph, defensive tackle

The Big Goon was once again disruptive in many ways during this game, pushing around the offensive line and bringing down ball carriers on a regular basis. Linval Joseph registered a team-high ten tackles on the day, with four of them being solo efforts.

Danielle Hunter, defensive end

It seems like Danielle Hunter gets better every single season. His speed and athleticism teamed with his improvement in techniques and gain of experience have made him exceptionally dangerous. He only had three tackles on the day with two of them being solo, but he also got a sack on Russell Wilson and was consistently getting pressure.

Anthony Barr, linebacker

It’s nice to see the version of Anthony Barr who is flying all over the field making plays like he was drafted to do in the Vikings defense. Being able to cover so much of the field east to west is a great asset, and it resulted in him seven tackles on the day with five of them being solo, including one sack.
