The Accurate (?) Kicker

This one is going to be rough. The Ravens were able to rely on the most accurate kicker in NFL history as Justin Tucker banged through 30 field goals on 33 attempts (90.9%) in 2012. The Vikings also have one of the most accurate kickers in NFL history in Dan Bailey, but he has fallen from second to seventh thanks to a rough season (16 of 23, 69.6%).

It’s hard to pin point what is going on here as the special teams have made mistakes all over the field this season. Many have called for special teams coach Mike Priefer’s job, but he’s here to stay unless something ridiculous happens in the final three games.

The ability of the special teams to turn it around will be key down the stretch.
