It’s a little strange to have Adam Thielen ranked so highly among the best wide receivers in franchise history. That being said, the talented pass catcher has really lit up the stat sheet since becoming a full-time starter in 2016.

Thielen has already had two seasons where he toppled 1,200 yards receiving and he continues to see his receptions per game rise with each passing year. In 2017, he caught 91 passes and that number got crushed in 2018 when he snagged well over 100 passes.

By now, every Vikings fan knows the story of going from an undrafted free agent out of Minnesota State – Mankato to getting picked up by the Vikings. He worked his way up from the practice squad to special teams and finally as a pass catcher. It seems that hard work has paid off in a huge way, considering he is a fantasy football juggernaut.

Given some time, it’s possible that Adam Thielen could find himself moving well into the team’s top five wide receivers of all-time. Frankly, he might even get into the top three if he continues playing the way he has the last three years.
