Minnesota Vikings: 15 best wide receivers of all time
By Adam Carlson
During his seven seasons in Minnesota, Hassan Jones had four seasons of 500 receiving yards or more and racked up 3,824 receiving yards on 229 catches, scoring 24 touchdowns during his career.
Selected in the fifth round of the 1986 NFL Draft (No. 120 overall) out of Florida State, Jones had his best season in Minnesota during the 1990 season. He caught 51 passes for 810 yards and seven touchdowns that season with the Vikings.
Jones currently holds the ninth spot all-time in Vikings receiving yardage. That being said, there is a good chance two active players could pass him. This would drop him out of the top 10 within the next couple of seasons.
Despite his good career in Minnesota, Jones never made a Pro Bowl or All-Pro appearance. This is quite a shame considering he should have at least drawn some attention for his work during the 1990 season.
