Which players from the Minnesota Vikings offense and defense did enough to be named team MVPs against the Detroit Lions in Week 16 of the 2018 NFL season?

The Minnesota Vikings needed to win the final two games of the 2018 season to ensure themselves a spot in the playoffs. They accomplished half of that goal in Week 16 when they got a win on the road against a division opponent.

Their victory over the Detroit Lions was a decisive one, finishing the game with a 27-9 final score and showcasing some big plays on offense and a smothering bend, but don’t break, style of defense.

Both the offensive and defensive side of the ball had some great performances that helped lead the team to their big victory with one individual from each unit doing well enough to be the TVA MVP from the game.

Let’s get started with our MVPs by talking about the best players on offense for the Minnesota Vikings who didn’t quite earn the MVP title in Week 16 against the Lions!
