1. The Bears offense can be stopped

First, let’s offer a bit of praise. Mitchell Trubisky looks like a completely different quarterback this season after an up-and-down rookie year. He is more confident and has better talent around him this year to help put him in positions to make good things happen.

That said, the passing game shouldn’t be the biggest concern for the Vikings. Chicago only averages 226.7 yards per game through the air, good for 20th in the league. However, they like to end their touchdown drives with a pass, scoring that way 28 times, which is tied for 10th best.

The best news here is that Minnesota is exceptionally stingy in the passing game, allowing only 198.5 yards per game to opponents (third best in the league) and have only let 15 passing touchdowns be scored against them (best in the NFL).

If Chicago is going to find success against the Vikings, it will likely be on the ground. The emergence of Mackensie Alexander and Holton Hill paired with a really good pass rush will ensure they aren’t beaten that way.
