Sebastian Janikowski

2018 Stats:

  • 22/27 FGs (81.5 percent)
  • 48/51 XPs (94.1 percent)

In his very first season not wearing an Oakland Raiders uniform, Janikowski proved in 2018 with the Seattle Seahawks that he still has what it takes to be a reliable NFL kicker. The veteran showed that he still has a few clutch kicks left in him as well last year.

Three of the Seahawks’ wins in 2018 were a result of last-second field goals made by Janikowski. Clutch kicks are certainly something the Vikings have been missing out on for the last few seasons.

One worry about Janikowski though has to do with his health. The last time anyone saw him in a game, he had to sit on the sidelines for the second half of Seattle’s playoff matchup with the Dallas Cowboys after pulling his hamstring on a routine field goal attempt.

The injury wasn’t serious enough to require surgery or anything, so Janikowski should be good to go by the beginning of the 2019 season. But as an almost 41-year-old, how much football does the veteran kicker left in him?
