2018 Stats:

  • 33/36 FGs (91.7 percent)
  • 30/33 XPs (90.9 percent)

After spending the first three years of his career with the Jacksonville Jaguars, Myers had the season of his life as a member of the New York Jets in 2018.

Last season, the 27-year-old kicker set career-highs in made field goals, field goal percentage, and converted field goal attempts of 50-yards or more. Myers’ extra-point percentage in 2018 was also the highest mark of his NFL career.

While he did play well last year, is a similar performance something that can be expected from him moving forward?

Prior to joining the Jets in 2018, Myers was not known for being very reliable. In fact, the Jaguars actually released him just six games into the 2017 season because of his poor play.

Myers looked like a totally different player in a New York uniform last year, but his unsteady past may be too big of a gamble for the Vikings to take a chance on.
