Who are some of the available players in free agency this year that the Minnesota Vikings should not even consider adding to their roster?

During each and every offseason for the Minnesota Vikings, the excitement doesn’t really begin until the free agency period begins in March. This was the case last year when the Vikings were able to sign a pair of top free-agents in quarterback Kirk Cousins and defensive tackle Sheldon Richardson.

This offseason’s free agency period is not expected to be as eventful for Minnesota as it was in 2018 though. Mostly due to the Vikings’ currently only having around $7 million in salary cap space.

Minnesota will likely be able to make some moves to clear up more cap space, but it still won’t come close to the amount of money they had to spend last year.

Included among this offseason’s group of free-agents are some intriguing players that could help the Vikings get back to the playoffs in 2019. However, there are also a handful of free-agents that Minnesota should avoid signing this offseason.

Of the players who are expected to be available in free agency this year, who are five guys that the the Vikings should stay away from?
