Vikings seven round 2019 NFL mock draft: Mid-February edition

The 2019 NFL Draft continues to inch closer and fans are starting to wonder which college standouts will be selected by the Minnesota Vikings.

Team needs are starting to become more clear for the Minnesota Vikings and how the team will attempt to fill those spots have to be on the mind of fans hoping to see the purple and gold represented in the Super Bowl next year.

This year, Minnesota is projected to have eight picks to use during the 2019 NFL Draft assuming they don’t trade any way or acquire any more before the event which starts on Thursday, April 25 and lasts three days to conclude on Saturday, April 27.

Based on their 8-7-1 record at the end of the season, Minnesota holds the rights to the 18th overall pick. Here are the selections the team will be expected to have (note: original team picks are in bold):

  2. Round 2
  3. Round 3
  4. Round 4
  5. Round 6
  6. Round 6 (Projected Compensatory for Teddy Bridgewater)
  7. Round 7 (Projected Compensatory for Tramaine Brock)
  8. Round 7 (Projected Compensatory for Shamar Stephen)

For the purpose of this seven-round mock draft, the big boards from CBS Sports and DraftTek are be used for estimation in determining which players may be available when the Minnesota Vikings are on the clock.
