6. Christian Wilkins – DT (Clemson)

Wilkins is one of my favorite players in the entire draft. He’s an all-around defender that can hurt opposing offenses in a number of ways.

He has been one of the best in college football during the past few years. Wilkins would be a guy that could step in on day one for the Vikings and fill the shoes of a possible departing Sheldon Richardson.

Chance he’s still available at No. 18: 50 percent

How big of a Vikings need?: High

5. Dalton Risner – OL (Kansas State)

Risner is a fan favorite with his gritty and bulldozing play. He has the ability to play anywhere along the offensive line, which makes him very attractive.

While picking him at No. 18 he might be a mild reach, he is still well worth the selection. Risner will probably be a guy that watches his stock jump in the coming months.

4. Jawaan Taylor – OT (Florida)

Don’t get me wrong, Taylor is going to be a very solid offensive tackle in the NFL. So why is he only at No. 4 on my board?

Minnesota will probably just like the versatility of some of the other offensive line prospects better this year. It allows the Vikings more options on where to play them and for that reason alone, Taylor gets booted to fourth on here.

Chance he’s still available at No. 18: 15 percent
