Who are some of the wide receivers that are expected to be available in free agency this offseason who could interest the Minnesota Vikings?

With Adam Thielen and Stefon Diggs leading the way, the Minnesota Vikings are set for awhile at the top of their wide receiver chart. But finding someone new to compliment this dynamic duo may be something the Vikings choose to look into this offseason.

Laquon Treadwell assumed the role of Minnesota’s third receiver last year and the results were less than ideal. In 15 games last season, Treadwell had just one touchdown, averaged only 8.6 yards per catch, and tied for the team lead in drops.

With only one year remaining on his rookie contract, the Vikings may attempt to trade him this offseason if they can find any suitors.

Aldrick Robinson had the fourth-most snaps among Minnesota receivers in 2018 and he was able to score five touchdowns last season despite only being targeted 35 times. Robinson is scheduled to be a free-agent this year, but the Vikings could choose to bring him back if they think he would do well as their third receiver next season.

Brandon Zylstra, Chad Beebe, and Jeff Badet are the only other Minnesota wide receivers signed through 2019. There’s a chance that one of these three could take over as the Vikings No. 3 option next season, but this chance is not very high.

So if Minnesota is unsatisfied with keeping Treadwell as their third receiver for 2019 (which they should be), who are some free-agents that could potentially fill this role the Vikings next season?
