With a handful of needs and questions leading up to free agency, the Minnesota Vikings are one of the tougher teams to project in this year’s NFL Draft.

With the compensatory picks now official, the Minnesota Vikings will have a total of eight selections come draft day in 2019.

So while the Vikings’ roster still has plenty of firepower, they will be relying heavily on this year’s draft to address some very important needs. We have watched Minnesota’s front office work some magic during the draft in the past and one should fully expect the 2019 NFL Draft to be no different.

Vikings Current 2019 Draft Picks:

  • First Round (18th overall)
  • Second Round (50th overall)
  • Third Round (82nd overall)
  • Fourth Round (114th overall)
  • Sixth Round (178th overall)
  • Sixth Round (209th overall)
  • Seventh Round (247th overall)
  • Seventh Round (250th overall)

Everyone may be talking about the biggest needs like the offensive line, defensive line, and linebackers when it comes to the Vikings for the 2019 draft. But don’t be surprised if Minnesota gives the wide receiver, tight end, and cornerback position groups a hard look during the early rounds this year as well.

As the 2019 scouting combine is quickly approaching, how might the first four rounds of this year’s NFL Draft turn out for the Vikings?
