When it comes time for them to make their first selection in the 2019 NFL Draft, who might be the best player available at pick No. 18 for the Minnesota Vikings?

When the first round of the NFL Draft is over and the media surrounds a team’s head coach or general manager, they always respond with the same things over and over, “we just took the guy who was the top prospect on our board,” or, “we took the best player available regardless of need.”

In some cases that’s true and in others, it’s not.

If the Minnesota Vikings take this route and bypass primary needs to truly grab the top prospect on their board in 2019, who are some players who could be just that?

Of the prospects that could fall to the Vikings at pick No. 18 this year, let’s take a look at some who fit the “Best Players Available” label that could be staring Minnesota smack-dab in the face when they are on the clock for the first round of the draft on Thursday, April 25th.
