Chris Lindstrom – OG (Boston College)

Lindstrom is a guy who is currently all over everyone’s draft boards. Some draft analysts have this guy going in the top 20 and others have him waiting around until the third round.

There is plenty to like about Lindstrom. He stands 6-foot-4 and he tips the scales at around 300 pounds. Lindstrom is extremely quick off the snap and he attacks his man with violent and powerful hands. He also can pull outside in a hurry, leading plays around the edge.

Lindstrom is a very solid all-around prospect with very few knocks on his overall game. Maybe that’s why he isn’t ranked higher by some draft analysts this year.

He is very solid but he doesn’t stand out. Lindstrom could change all of that at the NFL Combine this week by performing in the top of all the offensive linemen drills.

The Vikings will be keeping a close eye on this guy in Indianapolis. Minnesota definitely needs the help at guard and Lindstrom could potentially come in and start for them on day one.

If the Vikings like what they see in the drills and he does well in the interview process, he is someone they can look at as a fallback option at pick No. 18 this year. Worst case, Minnesota could see him as someone worth trading back up for in the late portions of the first round, or even jumping up in round two to snag him if they go with a different position at pick No. 18.
