Steve Jordan captures the top spot in this ranking with a strong 13-year NFL career, all of it with the Vikings. This ties him with Jim Kleinsasser for the most seasons as a Minnesota tight end.

A seventh-round draft pick from Brown University in 1982, his career started slowly with only three starts and 15 receptions in his first two seasons.

In 1984, he became a full-time starter for the Vikings and he finished with 38 catches. He ended his career with 498 receptions— third-most in team history behind only Cris Carter (1,004) and Randy Moss (587). Jordan ranks sixth in career receiving yards and eighth in career touchdown catches in franchise history.

A durable downfield threat, from 1984 to 1993, Jordan played in 150 of a possible 160 regular season games. His final year with Minnesota came in 1994 when he only played in four games.

A six-time pro bowler consecutively from 1986 to 1991, Jordan’s best season came in 1986 when he led the Vikings with 58 receptions and six touchdowns.
