Garrett Bradbury – C/G (NC State)

No offensive line prospect may have helped themselves out more at the combine than Garrett Bradbury.

The center from North Carolina State finished at, or near the top, of almost every single physical drill. He also just stood out amongst his peers in the positional drills.

Bradbury looked a little bit faster, smoother, and just more technically sound than the other prospects. He set the bar on how each on the field drill should be performed.

So how much did Bradbury help himself?  Entering the combine, to most he was considered a late first to mid second-round prospect. After the combine, this guy should jump all the way up to the middle of the first round this year. That puts him right in line to be considered by the Vikings.

Taking Bradbury at pick No. 18 would make a lot of sense for Minnesota. He could come in and start at center and the team could then move Pat Elflein over to guard.  That essentially upgrades two positions with one selection.

Bradbury may not be a sexy pick for the Vikings, but he’s a very safe one and one they’d get instant production out of.
