Anthony Harris, safety – Second-round tender

By letting Andrew Sendejo walk, Minnesota appears to be counting on Anthony Harris to be the team’s starter next to Harrison Smith going forward. Since they haven’t reached an agreement with him yet, the team did the right thing in placing a second-round tender on him.

Considering the number of safeties in free agency and the fact it would cost a team a second round pick as well as at least $3.095M to acquire them after outbidding the Vikings, odds are this should be enough to keep him in Minnesota. Grade: A

Rashod Hill, offensive tackle – Right of refusal tender

Odds are there won’t be a bidding frenzy for Rashod Hill, but putting this tender on him worth $2.025 million is a good place to start. Minnesota is gambling that teams won’t pursue him and they will get a swing tackle on the cheap.

With the emergence of Brian O’Neill as well as the solid play from Riley Reiff, the Vikings should be set when it comes to offensive tackles if Hill sticks around. As long as another team doesn’t outbid Minnesota, this is a great move. Grade: B
