MINNEAPOLIS – OCTOBER 23: Tight end Jim Kleinsasser /

6. Jim Kleinsasser, tight end/fullback

The amount of love fans have for Jim Kleinsasser is amazing. The hard-working tight end was always willing to push for extra yardage or hold his ground in the passing game to help others be successful for the betterment of the team.

Spending his entire 13-season NFL career with the Minnesota Vikings, Kleinsasser was a sneaky option to run the ball or catch a pass since he was primarily known as a blocking specialist after being drafted out of the University of North Dakota.

Offensively, he ran the ball 43 times for 147 yards and one touchdown in his career and caught 192 passes for 1,688 yards and six more scores. Those numbers won’t jump off the charts at anyone, but they are definitely the icing on the cake for a great blocker.

Plus, it’s rare for a player to be in the league so long and never change teams. Kleinsasser will always be a big part of the Minnesota Vikings and his contributions may not show up in the stat sheet, but there is a reason he is so beloved.
