10. Jerick McKinnon, RB – 2014
Although he only spent four seasons with the Minnesota Vikings, Jerick McKinnon was able to make quite an impression when asked to fill in for starting running back Adrian Peterson during suspensions and injuries.
Playing in 58 games for the Vikings and starting 14 of them from 2014 through 2017, McKinnon carried the ball 474 times for 1,918 yards and seven touchdowns while adding 142 catches for 984 yards and five more scores.
McKinnon was a great receiver out of the backfield for Minnesota and complemented the power run game of guys like Peterson and Matt Asiata well. As part of a one-two punch, he kept opposing defenses on their toes and showcased great speed and athleticism with the ball in his hands.
As it stands, Jerick McKinnon is 18th among the all-time franchise rushing leaders and was targeted by the San Francisco 49ers to be their running back after his rookie contract ended with Minnesota.
