The Minnesota Vikings quarterback already has a good amount of weapons to choose from, but the team could draft another this year to help him out even more.

Normally, if a Minnesota Vikings quarterback were to finish a season with more than 4,000 passing yards and 30 touchdowns, it would be viewed as a success. However, this is exactly what Kirk Cousins did in a Vikings uniform last year and his performance still left plenty to be desired.

Cousins had his share of impressive games in 2018, but he also had a few head-scratchers. Minnesota is hoping to see more of the good performances from their quarterback during his second season with the team.

One way in which the Vikings can attempt to help Cousins’ chances of succeeding in 2019 would be to add another talented player to their offense from this year’s NFL Draft pool. There are a number of prospects available in the upcoming draft that many believe can make an immediate impact next season.

Cousins is already part of a Minnesota offense that features a ton of talent including Adam Thielen, Dalvin Cook, Kyle Rudolph, and Stefon Diggs. But maybe the veteran quarterback needs just a little bit more help in order to have the monster season that some believe he is capable of.

Looking at some of the players that could be available when the Vikings go on the clock in the first round of this year’s NFL Draft, which four could make an impact that potentially propels Cousins to the next level in 2019.
