By Adam Carlson
With the 2019 Draft a week away, let’s take a look at the final seven-round mock draft of who the Minnesota Vikings will be selecting from Apr. 25-27.
Less than a week remains until the 2019 NFL Draft where the Minnesota Vikings will try to bring in the best talent possible to make themselves conders and return to the playoffs after missing it last year.
All eyes will be on the draft in Nashville, TN from Thursday, Apr. 25 through 27 as seven rounds worth of collegiate players will get the opportunity to achieve a dream and be claimed by an NFL franchise.
Here are the picks the team owns heading into the 2019 NFL Draft (note: original picks belonging to the Vikings are in bold). Of course, these selections are subject to change before or during the draft if Minnesota makes trades involving draft picks:
- Round 1 – #18 overall
- Round 2 – #50 overall
- Round 3 – #81 overall
- Round 4 – #114 overall
- Round 6 – #178 overall
- Round 6 (Compensatory for Teddy Bridgewater) – #209 overall
- Round 7 (Compensatory for Tramaine Brock) – #247 overall
- Round 7 (Compensatory for Shamar Stephen) – #250 overall
Here are the picks the Vikings no longer have the rights to since they were traded away:
- Round 5: Traded to Broncos for Trevor Siemian
- Round 7: Traded to Giants for Brett Jones
For the purpose of this seven-round mock draft, big boards from CBS Sports and DraftTek are used to estimate which players may be available when the Minnesota Vikings are on the clock.
