Round 2: Greg Little, OL – Ole Miss

The Vikings look like they will do the same thing they did last year with a big need on the offensive line and wait until the second round to address that need. Like last year, the team can find a great option waiting for them.

It’s a bit surprising to see Little so low on big boards. Thanks to a ton of great talent on the offensive line in this class, a potential left tackle or left guard in Greg Little means the Vikings can still make a decision on where to play current starter Riley Reiff.

Standing six-foot-five and weighing 310 pounds, Little shows the potential to be a franchise left tackle thanks to his athleticism and ability to use his hands to redirect defenders. With his big frame and talents, there are only a few areas of his game which need polish.

After signing Josh Kline to be right guard, the development of Brian O’Neill at right tackle, and Pat Elflein holding down center, Little should fill the hole no matter where they plan on putting him. Plus, it shouldn’t be shocking to see the first two picks being offensive.
