The stretch that could decide the season

After the aforementioned soft stretch to open the season, a four-game stretch between Weeks 9 and 13 could determine whether the Vikings make the playoffs or fall short once again.

This stretch will begin on November 3, when the Vikings will travel to Arrowhead Stadium to square off with Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs. The following week will spawn a primetime matchup with the Dallas Cowboys before a reprieve in a home game against the Denver Broncos.

Throw in a trip to Seattle and the Vikings will play three playoff teams that had a combined record of 32-16 last season in a four-week stretch. If the Vikings can take two of the three games, it could be the difference between considering them as contenders or pretenders.
