The Minnesota Vikings have plenty of questions that should be answered during the 2019 NFL Draft. What should Vikings fans be watching for heading into the annual event?

After months of mock drafts, pro days and online player evaluations, draft day (and the weekend that follows it) has finally arrived.

Draft day sparks a beacon of hope for every team in the NFL that they can land their next franchise savior. For others, it’s another year of “How can we screw this up?”

For the Minnesota Vikings, they’re somewhere in between that spectrum. The Vikings aren’t in an immediate need of a franchise-changing player, but they also could slam their own Super Bowl window shut if they don’t come away with a solid draft this year.

With several needs on the roster and not much salary to fill them, this will be an intriguing draft to see which direction Minnesota goes, not only with the 18th overall pick on Thursday night, but with how they fill the rest of their class throughout the weekend as well.

There will be plenty of storylines to pay attention to as the draft unfolds over the next few days. What are five Vikings-related storylines to keep in mind during this year’s NFL Draft?
