There were some huge reactions by fans to the player who was selected by the Minnesota Vikings in the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft on Apr. 25, 2019.
Everyone has opinions and some of them can be quite bold. Leading up the 2019 NFL Draft, many fans have been very vocal about their preferences when it comes to who they thought the Minnesota Vikings should select with their first-round pick.
Now that fans know who will be joining the team, those who root for the purple and gold took to social media to express how they felt about the team choosing Garrett Bradbury at 18 overall at the 2019 NFL Draft.
Here are some of the best fan reactions to the Minnesota Vikings using their first-round draft pick on North Carolina State center Garrett Bradbury from Twitter:
Garrett Bradbury to Minnesota is one of my favorite picks in the entire draft. He's an elite prospect.

Garrett Bradbury is an excellent pick for @Vikings .. Perfect C for Gary Kubiak’s zone system. He climbs to the 2nd level in a hurry.. High IQ.. Tough.

It'll be Garrett Bradbury for the Vikings at No. 18. That could mean he's the new center, with Pat Elflein potentially moving to guard.
— Ben Goessling (@BenGoessling) April 26, 2019
He's the first Vikings offensive linemen taken in the first round since Matt Kalil in 2012.
Vikings took exact player I had mocked to them in #NFLDraft. Garrett Bradbury one of the top 10 players on my board. Dominated on field. Excellent athlete. Dominated at Senior Bowl. Instant 10-year starter.

Mike Zimmer said Garrett Bradbury was one of Gary Kubiak's favorite players in the pre-draft process -- and Andre Patterson came in to ask about him, too.

Rick Spielman believes Josh Kline, Pat Elflein and Garrett Bradbury can all play center or guard, giving the #Vikings flexibility heading into OTAs and training camp, where they can figure out the best spots for each.

Can't stress enough how perfect a fit Garrett Bradbury is for the #Vikings. Figure who plays guard/center between he and Pat Elflein later. I'd put him at center.

Super selection with the #18 pick!

Garrett Bradbury will be a Day 1 starter for the Minnesota Vikings.

Some of those takes were definitely hot and possibly a bit of a knee-jerk reaction. Of course, it will take some time to find out how this pick pans out for the team over the years, but every fan is entitled to their opinion.
On the other hand, here is how I felt about the team making Garrett Bradbury their first-round selection on my own personal Twitter account:
While center wasn't really a position I had a key eye on, I can't argue with the fact that the Vikings got a really good offensive lineman without trading up. This move should help the Minnesota offense in a big way.

Your opinion could very well differ from mine, but that is what makes sports so much fun. The ability to argue and debate points of a player’s game or the impact they will make will be quite interesting and time will tell who ends up being right about a prospect’s potential.
