Kelvin Harmon – WR (North Carolina State)

Harmon surprisingly is still on the board when many saw him as a surefire Day 2 pick if not a Day 1 selection.

Harmon has good size at 6-foot-2 and 221 pounds. He isn’t a burner by any means, but he uses his big frame well to box out defenders and high point the football.

He also wasn’t asked to run a lot of complex routes at NC State and he mostly ran go routes and slants. He does need work in this area, but in the Vikings’ offense, he’d just need to be a big target who can go up and make those tough contested catches consistently.

Harmon plays with a lot of swagger and he isn’t afraid to get in the heads of the men who are supposed to be covering him.

If Minnesota can land this guy during the early part of Day 3, he could have a very good chance of winning the team’s third receiver job for next season. All he really has to do is beat out Laquon Treadwell, whose time with the Vikings seems to be up in the air after a drop-riddled 2018 season.

If Harmon earns that job, Minnesota could see an early return on this Day 3 investment.
