The Minnesota Vikings selected guard Dru Samia in the fourth round of the 2019 NFL Draft. What can the Vikings expect from the Oklahoma product next season?

One of the top priorities for the Minnesota Vikings in the 2019 NFL Draft was to upgrade the interior of their offensive line.

After seeing the unit get wrecked by dominant defensive tackles such as Aaron Donald and Akiem Hicks last season, finding a legitimate starter, as well as some depth, needed to be addressed by the time the draft concluded on Saturday afternoon.

After taking a huge first step by drafting Garrett Bradbury in the first round, the Vikings doubled down on their interior reclamation project in the fourth round, selecting Oklahoma guard Dru Samia with the 114th overall pick.

Coming off an Oklahoma offensive line that won the Joe Moore Award as the most outstanding offensive line in college football, Samia brings even more athleticism to Minnesota’s front line and he should be another reason the team’s offense gets back on track in 2019.

What should the Vikings be able to expect from the latest addition to their offensive line next season?
