What to expect from Samia in 2019

The good news for Samia is that he should have time to develop as the Vikings seem to have their interior offensive line figured out for next season.

With Elflien and Josh Kline presumably holding down the starting guard positions, Samia can hit the weight room to get bigger and stronger, while also working on his technique.

Even if Samia is pressed into emergency duty, he has the skill set that is a perfect fit for the Gary Kubiak/Kevin Stefanski offense and he will be able to contribute in that situation. This should provide the kind of depth and competition that Minnesota didn’t have across their offensive line a year ago.

Adding Samia to an interior group that also houses Bradbury at center should be huge for the Vikings as they now have a smart, athletic trio that should be able to spring the running game free.

If Samia can develop quickly and crack the starting lineup, it will be a huge victory for the Vikings.
