To be polite, the Minnesota offense was inconsistent at times. They were dealing with struggling play from the interior of the offensive line, which drastically limited what the team could do when trying to move the ball down the field.
Enter the 2019 Vikings, who are installing a new blocking scheme to go with some new faces on the offensive line. This should result in more success for the Minnesota offense in nearly every single phase of the game.
The team of offensive coordinator Kevin Stefanski, Gary Kubiak, and Rick Dennison have a lot of combined experience when it comes to putting together a winning game plan…and together they should be able to work with these players to fit inside their new schemes.
In fact, recently signed guard Josh Klein and rookie center Garrett Bradbury were both highly sought after for how they would fit in the new schemes and be assets when executing the new playbook. And if coaches can get the fits they want, the players on the field can find more success.
